Muacks xoxo

I used to have rather dry, cracked lips. And my itchy fingers will go an tear those dry skin off, leaving my lips bloody at times. T_T

Having such dry lip condition makes lip sticks/tints/gloss hard to look smooth. It just looks cakey and ugly.

That's when my lovely boyfriend (thankew dear ^^ ) bought for me the Vaseline Lip Therapy with Advanced Formula as seen below in the picture.

It's really really good and is really cheap at S$2.80 at those neighbourhood stores!

I use it before I sleep and before I put on my lip stick/tint/gloss.

It is like a gel and is very creamy. So don't overly squeeze the cream out!

It has no smell and no colour. So you can use it as a make up base.

My BFF recommends the Elizabeth Arden Lip Protectant Stick that contains protective sunscreen. But obviously that is much much more expensive. $_$

Ultimately, the best treatment to anything will of course be to drink more water!

Happy Wedding Woes :)

The thought of planning a wedding can be both exciting and daunting for average folks like me & Mr. Kim. We definitely dread the bills that will haunt us. In today's world, we constantly follow influencers on social media and they unconsciously set perceptions in our minds of what a wedding should entail. We could easily be led astray without realizing that certain rash decisions can burn a really unnecessary big hole in our wallets.  For us, the main goal is to get value for money products and services that are affordable to the both of us. To do things that can be done on our own with minimum effort. And most importantly, be happy and enjoy the process. :)  Naturally, as accountancy grads, the first step is to set up a "Timeline and Budget" excel file with the following details: As a couple, it is really important to discuss and be open on budget even if the guy is paying 100%. So each of us know what to expect and how to decide on what to pur

NORTH ISLAND    (Auckland > Matamata > Lake Taupo > Auckland) Day 1 (Auckland):   Uber to Ramada Auckland Federal St from Auckland Airport @ NZD 54 as compared to cabbing for NZD 60-80. As such, expect some creative (unconventional) use of ingredients and unique combination of flavours. Ingredient quality is top-notched but I wou

Hay, Hair!

Ever since I permed my hair, my hair texture became rough. The ends became frizzy, tangled and brittle too! Lots of $$$ & effort must be put in when you perm/dye/straighten your hair to minimise damage. :/ My hair looks lifeless, like hay. And so, my daddy (lol), decided to buy for me the Grapeseed Glossing Hair Serum from Body shop that costs S$26.90 (75ml). Before vs After:  VS   VS  It is surprisingly non-sticky and not oily. My hair looks more alive & soft with less frizz & tangles! ^_^ It's a leave-on treatment and I only use 2 pumps after shower for my super duper long hair.  I also use it before I go to work! Verdict: I love it~~~ Many people love it too~ My friend, CC, has just recommended another highly raved hair oil called Argan Oil. Shall research about it and try it next time!
